$144.74 before gift cards, $21.83 actually spent

This month was a weird month. On the one hand, I bought more things at full price than I ever do. But I went into the month knowing that I needed to beef up my fall wardrobe, and once I found what I was looking for, I was afraid that my size would sell out. On the other hand, it was my birthday month so I had a lot of money and gift cards to spend, so paying full price didn't hurt as much, I suppose. Overall, I was really successful at finding things on my fall wish list.

Fall Wish List
cognac flats
comfy fall shirt
fall dress
cognac boots
fall scarf
second plaid flannel shirt
colored cardigan
neutral cardigan
maroon/fall colored pants
brown leather (or fake leather) jacket

Next month should go back to normal (have to spend my own money again, after all), but we'll see. J will be gone for a few weeks for a work-related thing, and E will be with her dad for part of October (yay, her dad gets back soon!), so I'll have a lot of time on my hands. I have a lot of projects planned to keep me busy, but I'll admit, shopping is going to happen.

  2. So many good pieces! I really like how you've been wearing them, too! I still have birthday money to spend, but I've been saving for a pair of Hunter boots (it wouldn't be fall/winter if I didn't get another pair of boots).

  5. You really did a great job crossing things off your list! I need to make a fall wish list... that's a great idea to keep you on track!

I love that striped dress and those JustFab boots - they were such a good deal!

  6. YAY for gift cards! You got some great stuff, too. October is always awkward for me, because my birthday is at the end so I feel like I can't buy anything just in case it's going to be a present!

  16. Thank you! It really helped me keep my eye on my goals and not just buy every cute thing that came out.

I think those are my two favorite items as well (though I love all of them)! I can't wait to wear them together.

  19. Thank you! And yeah, it's totally not fall until you've bought new boots. Can't wait to see which ones you get!

  20. I love them! I found them to be true to size. The only downside was the calf of the boot is 16", and my calf circumference is 16", and they were a little tight at first. However, they've stretched a bit and now I can wear them over my thickest pair of skinny jeans! (See my last style post). This was my first purchase from them, so I got them for $20 (can't beat that price!), but I would've been willing to pay the normal $39.95 for them. I can't attest to their sturdiness or longevity yet, but they feel like they are quality!
